Pawan Kalyan is one such actor whose popularity is not defined by the box-office result. Irrespective of the fate of his films at the box-office, he continues to command a huge fan base and the same fandom continues even now.
Powerstar is not only hailed as an actor but his co-artistes and other technicians have often reiterated about the golden heart he has. Many have dubbed him as a kind soul and the same is said by small-time junior artiste MS Chowdary.
The junior artiste reveals that he is fortunate enough to have got to work with Pawan Kalyan in three films, Gabbar Singh, Agnyaathavaasi and Vakeel Saab. MS Chowdary reveals that it was Harish Shankar’s way of introducing him to Pawan Kalyan, the latter had a good opinion of him.
The small-time artiste however adds that he has one regret that Pawan Kalyan appreciated all except for him. Speaking more on it, he says, “For the Gabbar Singh sequence, all the other junior artistes had to sing a song in front of Pawan Kalyan. Everyone did their part and all got appreciation from Pawan. But unfortunately when my turn came, the shot took place when Pawan was away for lunch. So I had to do the shot in front of Pawan’s absence and I missed Pawan’s appreciation”.
