Pandemic Is Delaying It For Prabhas’ AdipurushPrabhas’ Adipurush is a Ramayan adaptation. Naturally, there is a lot of scope for casting as each small role is iconic and memorable. So far, only four key parts are locked. The talks are going on for two more, and they are exciting names for sure. However, the makers are not able to get them on paper due to pandemic related issues.

The latest in casting series related to Adipurush is Siddharth Shukla. The Big Boss 13 winner is a multi-talented actor and well-known face across North India. His inclusion will be another great addition to the epic.

Similarly, sometime back, a buzz surfaces that Kicha Sudeep from the Kannada film industry is approached for Adipurush. The star clarified it and said that the discussions have happened with the manager, but it hasn’t reached him yet.

It is clear that the makers of Adipurush are looking for Sudeep and Siddharth Shukla. If they give their nod, Adipurush will have the most eclectic collection of actors working together. But, they are yet to approach them. So, it is not just the shooting, but casting is also getting affected due to the pandemic.

So far, Saif Ali Khan (Ravana), Kriti Sanon (Sita), and Sunny Singh (Lakshman) are locked besides Prabhas, who plays the titular role of Lord Ram. Sudeep and Siddharth Shukla are approached for Vibhishan and Meganath parts, respectively.

Om Raut of Tanhaji fame directs the big-budgeted mythological epic made on a never seen before scale. It is slated to hit the screens for Independence Day weekend, 2022.
