For the past few weeks, there has been an argument that Telugu moviegoers are not too interested in watching every new theatrical release and are ready to wait out for the film to arrive on OTT. This is cited as one of the reasons why footfalls have depleted at cinema halls.
Now, team Pakka Commercial has stated that they are imposing an OTT strategy for the film. “Many people think that our film will arrive on OTT soon and they can catch it there. But we have decided against it. Pakka Commercial will not arrive on OTT anytime soon.” Maruthi said in his latest media interaction.
As we had reported earlier, Pakka Commercial will reportedly arrive on OTT at least 5 weeks post its theatrical release.
Coming to the theatrical ticket pricing model, Pakka Commercial will have Rs 200 and Rs 150 pricing slab at multiplexes and single screens respectively in Nizam. In AP, it will have Rs 147 and Rs 177 at single screens and plexes respectively.
The producer of the film had recently stated that Pakka Commercial will have Rs 160+ GST in Nizam and Rs 150+ GST in AP (multiplexes) and Rs 100 at most single screens. But the current pricing model is higher than what was announced.
