Unlike ‘Baahubali’, a regional film which left behind all the Bollywood Cinema with it’s roaring records and box-office collections, in Pakistan regional Cinema is left behind by a Bollywood film. One of the common bonds between India and Pakistan is Bollywood Cinema. Many of our Hindi movies had been block busters in Pakistan too.
But there are many others which didn’t get Pakistan Censor Board’s clearance and hence couldn’t see the light of the day in Pakistan. With Salman’s Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, it’s different. The Censor clearances came and the Eid release has raked in 6 million in two places i.e., Islamabad and Karachi.
What is more surprising is that, Salman’s film left behind two Eid releases in Pakistan, the regional cinema. How big the film is going to be will be decided when figures come from all over Pakistan. With the available stats of the above said two regions, the response is really overwhelming, isn’t it?
