The Kerala film actress Padmapriya Janakiraman who became an actress from a TV anchor fired fumes on media who spread rumors on her to be a victim of the casting couch. She said that she has never faced such situation and that she is very grateful to the Malayalam film industry.
She requested the media who have been creating such false news to refrain from doing so, confirming that all the allegations stating that she was subjected to the ugly hands of the casting couch are false. Padmapriya claimed that she got calls from the film industry for her effort and work that they have seen in her as an anchor and has got all the respect that an artist should get.
