Ori Devuda is one of the four Diwali outings. The other films are Prince, Sardar, and Ginna. Of the four releases, the Vishwak Sen starrer is the more promising one.
Firstly, Ori Devuda is a remake of a hit film, Oh My Kadavule. It was a hit film and Tamil and the contemporary script might well suit the Telugu audience.
Also, the making values for the Vishwak Sen starrer seem very rich. There’s vibrancy in the frames. This is possibly the film with the best production values in Vishwak’s filmography.
The makers, PVP productions appear to have given a very fair deal to Vishwak with Ori Devuda which is ticking the right boxes ahead of its release. This is arguably the better planned film in Vishwak’s career.
Also, the casting is bang on point and possibly better than what the original had. The addition of Venkatesh is a clever move. There’s Puri Jagannadh in an important role as well.
Well, PVP have prepared a winner for Vishwak Sen with Ori Devuda and the onus is now on the film to actually go on to make it big at the box office, which of course is the most important act.
