Oopiri starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi has blasted the box office in US in the weekend that just concluded. The film has collected $904k from Thursday premieres to Sunday.
In the process of this glorious run over the weekend, Oopiri has outdone the lifetime collections of recent Nagarjuna’s blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana. It is now only a formality for the film to enter the Million dollar club.
The real interest now is to see when Oopiri will cross Manam to become the highest grossing film of Nagarjuna. Good news here is trade predicts crossing Manam is a done deal but what’s more exciting is that they also expect the film touch 2 Million mark in US. Fans on their part are keeping the fingers crossed for 2 Million mark.
