Oopiri starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannah had a very good first weekend. It was followed by decent weekdays with collections getting slow with each passing day.
Overall in the first week Oopiri has collected similarly to Manam which is slightly less than 20 Cr worldwide. It also means Oopiri is among the top 3 biggest openers of Nagarjuna. Soggade Chinni Nayana is the best with first week collections well and truly over 20 Cr.
Also as reported the weekend collections are looking solid again. We have to see how long the film takes to cross the 30 Cr mark worldwide as it is required to cross that mark to be seen as a big success of sorts. It will also give Nagarjuna third back to back 30 Cr plus film and make him the only senior hero to achieve that feat.
