In the film industry, there’s a saying, “Make hay when the sun is shining.” It’s hazardous for any actor or director to waste their peak time after delivering a successful film. But there are two directors who have wasted their peak time waiting to get the nod from NTR and Ram Charan.
Buchi Babu Sana, after delivering Blockbuster Uppena, pitched a story to NTR who liked it but asked him to wait till he finishes his previous commitments. Then the pandemic happened, and RRR got delayed.
And now NTR30 with Koratala Siva is also going nowhere and now Buchi Babu Sana has to wait for another 2-3 years if he wants to do a film with NTR which he can’t afford.
Gowtam Tinnanuri’s story also isn’t any different. After delivering a heart-touching hit with Jersey, he impressed Ram Charan with his script, and things were almost finalized for RC16. But at the last moment, the news came out that Chiranjeevi didn’t like the final narration and Ram Charan had to leave the project leaving Gowtam in soup.
Both the directors wasted 3-4 years of the prime time of their careers waiting to start their projects with NTR and Ram Charan. But now both the projects aren’t happening and they will have to start their project with other stars who have dates.
If they want to work with big stars in the future then they have to deliver a blockbuster again with their second film to establish their credibility or else no big star will work with them.
It’s like they have to start all over again and prove themselves all over again to get NTR, Ram Charan, or any other superstar to work with them in the future which is going to be a tough task.
