As the Telangana government has eased lockdown restrictions, the filmmakers are contemplating over to resume the shoots of their impending projects. Meanwhile, filmmaker Maruthi is in an advanced process as he has already proceeded with the shoot.
Maruthi has started the shoot for a medium-budget film with actors Santosh Shobhan and Mehreen Pirzada, at Aluminum factory in the City. Since the film does not comprise big stars, the filmmaker is confident to complete the project in mere 30-days. With very limited cast and crew , the shoot is taking place amid all the COVID safety protocols.
Meanwhile, Santosh Shobhan of Ek Mini Katha has become hot cake after the decent success on the OTT. Thus he is being approached by the filmmakers for ‘bold’ roles. While the storyline of Maruthi’s film is yet to be revealed, we wonder if this is another bold one in the offing starring Santosh Shobhan. On the other side, this is Mehreen’s first project post her engagement with Bhavya Bishnoi.
Apart from this, Maruthi has Gopichand and Raashi Khanna’s Pakka Commercial. The film took a backseat owing to COVID and he now has plans to resume shoot from August.
