Megastar Chiranjeevi is always dubbed as the man with ‘golden heart’ by his industry friends and general folks over his relentless services through his Eye and Blood Bank among other things. While Chiranjeevi’s greatness has been iterated by cine-stars often, now his close friend Dr Satya Prasad has spoken about Chiranjeevi’s greatness and how his timely intervention saved his life.
“I was about to step out of the house as I had a meeting with the collector over COVID cases, but all of a sudden I collapsed. My wife texted Chiranjeevi, immediately he called back. I was half conscious and he spoke with me enquiring the things. He took five minutes and again called back, asking me directly to head to Vijayawada as he has arranged everything,” says Dr Satya Prasad.
“Chiranjeevi spoke with the neurosurgeon and by the time we went, 20 Chiranjeevi fans were ready waiting for me to give blood for platelets. Out of them, only two persons blood matched mine. Then I needed to do excessive physiotherapy exercises to recover fast. Chiranjeevi enquired am I doing exercises or not, to which I said as you did exercises in I Love You movie, I am doing the same,” laughs off Dr Satya Prasad.
On work wise, Chiranjeevi will be seen in Acharya. The film scheduled for May 13 release, has now been deferred indefinitely owing to rise in Coronavirus cases.
