The Vishwak Sen starrer Hit released on this day, exactly a year ago. The movie opened with good critical acclaim. The fast-paced and slick execution, along with Vishwak Sen’s intense performance, was appreciated by many.
On the first anniversary, the presenter of the movie, Natural Star Nani has announced a second part. If Hit presented the story of Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) from Telangana, part two will look at HIT’s counterpart from Andhra Pradesh. A new hero will be starring in the action thriller.
Once the second movie is out, one can expect a crossover of sorts between the two HIT teams and leads. If that happens, it would be the first shared universe flick in Telugu cinema. We have to wait and see if Nani and the makers have such plans or not.
Sailesh Kolanu, the director of Hit, will also helm the second chapter. Other cast and crew details of the movie are awaited. There is a buzz, though, that a young hero known for his ‘thriller’ movies might be leading the second case.
