Singer Chinmayi comes as a strong feminist in social media. She is known for her strong opinions on topics related to that and as a result, there have been many people who have misunderstood the lady and took it for arrogance.
But then, one night has changed it all. The singer has entered Twitter spaces ( a new feature recently launched on Twitter) last night and has unleashed her inner-self in it. She had spoken around 5-6 hours on various topics and also rendered some of her finest songs. Around 3 AM to 4 AM, there were around 1,200 listeners listening to her sing and talk.
It was bliss to hear all those songs and she also debunked several misconceptions about her so-called ‘arrogance’. When she elaborated all her views on various topics including for most of them which she is misunderstood, many have changed their opinion about her once for all.
Furthermore, she has been completely energetic taking the requests from people to sing various songs. She took all the requests with humbleness. She also narrated how she is taking on a powerful lobby in the Tamil film industry where she got banned for speaking on the #MeToo movement. There were several discussions on Twitter since then with people acknowledging their mistake and asking her for an apology.
