Tamil movie ‘Mudhalvan’ is dubbed as ‘Oke Okkadu’ featuring Arjun and Manisha Koirala in Telugu is a landmark film in the genre of political dramas till date and its roaring success in 1999 were something which inspired director Shankar to remake it in Hindi as ‘Nayak’.
Now, there is a buzz regarding the sequel of the movie ‘Mudhalvan 2’ and writer K.V. Vijayendra Prasad is being approached to pen the script for the sequel. The producers want to rope in Shankar for the sequel as only his inclusion into the project will create real buzz for it.
However, Shankar is already working on another sequel, ‘2.0’ and the director taking up another sequel back o back is something that might not happen. Shankar is trying to make a comeback of sorts with the ‘Enthiran’ sequel. If Shankar agrees to come on board for ‘Mudhalvan 2’, who would be the hero? Arjun is aged now and it would be a tough task to find a replacement for his role. Let’s see.
