On YSR Jayanthi, Jagan Government Gets One More Backlash from SC

Share

Supreme Court has once again turned down Andhra Pradesh Government’s plea in Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar’s Case. The Government brought to the notice of the court that all the Election Commission related works have come to a standstill and mid-term SEO should be appointed until the case is solved.

However, the Apex court refused to given any such instruction to the Governor and told the Government that the final judgment of the case will be given in two to three weeks. This comes as a huge disappointment to the Government which has been trying to prevent Ramesh Kumar from coming back.

The next hearing of the case is posted after three weeks. On the other side, Nimmagadda already filed a Contempt of Court case in AP High Court on Andhra Pradesh Government and the State Chief Secretary for not reinstating him as the post of the SEC.

Jagan Government is insecure about facing the election under Ramesh Kumar since he is an appointee during Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure and also belongs to the same community as Chandrababu.
