Anchor turned film maker Ohmkar is presently making waves with his recent ‘Raju Gari Gadi’ turning out a silent hit. In a recent interview, he talked about his journey from Zee Telugu to Maa Tv and then how he became a film maker. His card to fame was definitely the ‘Aata’ programme which was aired on Zee Tv for five consecutive series.
But when he had to make a film he approached Maa Nimmagadda Prasad and got the satellite rights which helped in getting 50% finances for his film which is made with Rs.3 Cr budget. There is a gossip making rounds that Omhkar ditched Zee Telugu which actually got him the immense popularity he is enjoying today.
Omhkar denies the allegations and says that he is parallely was doing Zee Programs and Maa Tv programs. Only that he moved on when he got better opportunities but never ditched the channel which gave him limelight. He didn’t approach Zee for his film because Zee backed away from producing films after a couple of flops while Maa TV freshly wanted to venture into production.
