Sharwanand is keenly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Oke Oka Jeevitham. Sharwa sat down with M9.news for an exclusive interview and here’s what he had to say.

“Oke Oka Jeevitham is one of the best films in my career. It was in production for close to 3 years due to Covid and the director had ample time to fine tune the script. It is a well rounded film,” he said.

Sharwa added that the film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil with both sets of actors from respective industries. This is his first proper bilingual.

“The CGI work in the film is outstanding. You can’t differentiate what’s CGI and what’s real. That’s how good it is. The CGI will be on par with Rajamouli’s films. The film covers two different worlds of science fiction and family drama. The blend will be very good,” he said.

Adding further, he said Amala has the certain aura of calmness and her presence made the film multifold better.

When asked about the flops he accumulated all the while, he said he’s constantly experimenting around and there’re times when the directors and producers judgement went wrong unfortunately.

“I voluntarily took a 6-month break and rediscovered myself both as an actor and as a person,” when asked about slimming down a fair bit.

The producer SR Prabhu is a good friend of mine. He kept sending me scripts from Tamil Nadu but I didn’t like them. This is the first script I loved and I readily came on-board. The director’s attention for detail and conviction are brilliant, he adds.

On a final note, we asked him about the age old topics of marriage and he replied “Unnadi Oke Oka Jeevitham, Pelli enduku’” and signed off.
