As promised earlier today, the makers of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s SSMB28 have dropped the much anticipated update on the project.
As per the video unveiled by team SSMB28, the Mahesh Babu starrer will be hitting theatres worldwide on the 28th of April.
Well, there’s a special attachment to the release date for Mahesh’s fans as blockbuster Pokiri released on the same date back in 2006. 17 years later, Mahesh and Trivikram’s SSMB28 will release on the same date.
The film has locked prime summer season release and with the super exciting combo advantage, it could well set the box office on fire if Mahesh and Trivikram come up with a winning film. Also, this could be Mahesh’s last release in next 2-3 years before he moves on to Rajamouli’s film which will obviously take a whole lot of time. So, the stakes are naturally high on SSMB28.
Also, the word “Mass” is highlighted in the said video, which could be an indication of the theme of the film. Trivikram appears to be coming up with a mass script this time around.
SSMB28 will commence the shoot very soon and it will, as mentioned above, release this Summer. The film has Pooja Hegde in the leading lady role and Thaman will compose the music for the same. Haarika & Hassine Creations are producing the film.
