There are two new theatrical outings today and they are Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura and Kiran Abbavaram’s Meter.
While Ravanasura is promoted as an action thriller with a suspense element, Kiran’s Meter is promoted as a commercial potboiler.
Coming to the OTT aspect of these two films, both of them have sealed the deal with top OTT portals.
The post theatrical OTT streaming rights of Ravanasura are with Amazon Prime Video, as confirmed in the theatrical screening of the film today.
As for Meter, the film has sealed Netflix as its official OTT streaming partner.
Comparatively, Amazon is more proactive when it comes to orchestrating early OTT releases for their films so we should see if Ravanasura will make its OTT debut ahead of Meter.
The official OTT release dates of these two new theatrical releases could be announced towards the end of this month.
