Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji’s big budget action epic Bramhastra released in theaters today amidst good expectations. The film opened to pretty good advance bookings all across the country.
Coming to the point, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Bramhastra are with Disney+ Hotstar. The same is confirmed today as the film hit the big screens.
Disney+ Hotstar had been upping the ante when it comes to acquiring mainstream Indian biggies. Earlier this month, the OTT giant premiered Akshay Kumar’s Cuttputlli. Now, they’ve bagged Bramhastra, which is one of the better-hyped Bollywood releases in the recent while.
As for Bramhastra’s satellite rights, they are with Star MAA. The Star Network appears to have invested heavily to acquire the digital and satellite streaming rights of Bramhastra.
Bramhastra also has Nagarjuna in an important role. The film also features Alia Bhatt. It was extensively promoted by the master craftsman SS Rajamouli down South.
