Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy has officially locked the release date. The makers have dropped a new poster of the film with the release date imprinted on it.
The poster confirms that the Balakrishna starrer will be releasing in theaters on the 12th of January.
Meaning, Veera Simha Reddy is the first Telugu biggie to lock the Sankranthi release slot. More importantly, it has locked the early slot of 12 January.
It is heard that Vijay’s Varasudu might also be releasing on the same day – 12 January. But this film’s release is based on the release date of another Tamil star, Ajith’s Thunivu.
For now, Veera has picked the best date and it could well be the first film to release next Sankranthi season which is obviously an advantage. We will get more clarity on other releases once the release date of Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya is announced.
Coming back to the poster of Veera Simha Reddy, it has Balayya in a mass look. He is seen giving a warning pose in the same. It is an indicative of the mass content that is on offer with the film.
