Liger Movie Release DateHere comes the official announcement. Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is all set to release on September 9th. It will be a grand theatrical release across five languages on the same day.

We had previously mentioned, much before anyone else, Liger would most likely arrive in September. It has a festive weekend and also a single-window across the various industries. Why would anyone let it go?

The only glitch here is that there would be a clash locally, in Telugu. Although, not yet officially announced, the upcoming film of Pawan Kalyan currently referred to as PSPKRana is also slated to release for the same weekend.

As it is not official, there is always a probability of changing ‘date’, but this (September 10) is what the makers have in mind to bring PSPKRana to theatres.

PSPKRana is another quickie much like Vakeel Saab. However, it is a much more masala fare and provides a fresh combination in Pawan Kalyan and Rana. It would be a solid competition at the Telugu box office, for sure.

Both Liger and PSPKRana could lose some moolah in Telugu states. It could be a bigger problem for the latter, though. The former has other markets to cover.

Puri Jagannadh directs Liger. It is his next outing after Ismart Shankar. There is further huge buzz and anticipation due to the pan-India debut of Vijay Deverakonda. We have to wait and see how things pan out for these two movies, eventually.
