So, the official announcement regarding NTR30 is officially out now. The director has changed as par the grapevines. We now have Koratala Siva take up the mantle to handle Jr NTR.
Koratala Siva, not Trivikram Srinivas handles NTR30. The change in director seems to have happened over the basic subject of the film. NTR30 would be his follow up to RRR. Young Tiger NTR hopes to go ahead with another pan-India biggie, which didn’t look right with what Trivikram had in store.
Koratala Siva’s project with Jr NTR would be a pan-India film. The director hints so with his post on social media, where he teases by saying ‘crossing boundaries’ this time. According to the director, the last film they did together – Janatha Garage, was ‘local repairs’.
The production house too has changed. Yuvasudha Arts produces NTR30 along with NTR Arts. A film in the combination of Koratala Siva and Jr NTR on the Yuvasudha Arts banner has been pending for a long time. It was announced a long time back. Finally, it is taking shape grandly, now.
The release date, too, is locked. NTR30 will hit the screens on April 29th. It is going to arrive two weeks after pan-India biggie Salaar. Also, it gets an extended weekend advantage as the fourth day will be the May Day holiday.
The regular shooting of the film will begin as soon as both Jr NTR and Koratala Siva are free with their current commitments. It would be the second half of the year.
