There is no denying the fact that NTR will get the biggest hit of his career in the form of Rajamouli’s RRR. But it cannot be counted as a solo hit as the film also has Ram Charan in another lead role.
In the past few years, NTR has only given average to above-average films. None of his films after Temper gave him the opportunity to perform and this aspect is surely bothering NTR deep down inside and he would like to change things.
He has lined up multiple films after RRR and next in line is Koratala Siva with whom he also did Janatha Garage. There was news that NTR will also do a film with Buchi Babu of Uppena fame but there was no news on that.
Of late, the film is back in the news as NTR has decided to shoot that project back to back along with Koratala’s next. But the film has divided NTR’s fans into two halves now.
One section has extremely low expectations towards Buchi Babu. The reason is that they feel that Uppena was an average film. They felt that the second half was dull even though the film was a hit. Also, as Buchi Babu is not a star director, they have reservations about his talent and how can handle NTR.
Yet another section feels that all the star directors only gave average films for NTR in the recent past and a new director like Buchi Babu might bring a fresh NTR out on the screens.
Buchi Babu has worked with NTR on Nannaku Prematho and knows NTR’s strengths in and out. So, the reports say that he has readied a very interesting subject and will showcase him like never before. Will this happen or not only time will tell but the fans are in two minds now.
