No way was the second part going to arrive without any compensation for the people who lost money on the first part. As many are aware, NTR Kathanayakudu was sold for a record price over 70 Cr in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s career. The final result was that it emerged as the third biggest disaster of all time.
So, when the new release date February 22nd came out, and there was no sign of any refund or solace to the distributors who lost money, they were furious and not willing to let NTR Mahanayakudu release. A high drama of sorts was happening behind the scenes when it was heard that NBK is looking at again reselling the second part as well. It added to the tensions further.
Well, the latest news is that all the issues are settled. The distributors who have lost the money on the first part are given NTR Mahanayakudu. The biopic will now arrive on time as announced on February 22nd. Krish directs NTR – Mahanayakudu which sees Balakrishna essay the role of his legendary father.
