NTR-Biopic-(NTR-Kathanayakudu)-Vs-Ram-Charan's-Vinaya-Vidheya-Rama,-F2---Strengths-&-Weaknesses2019 is going to have one of the most varied and exciting Sankranthi releases on cards after a very long time. Each comes with its own set of combos and selling factor. We take a look at the strengths and weaknesses of each film.

NTR:

Strength:

The name NTR is the most significant selling point of the movie. Also, biopics have found acceptance among Telugu audience which gives further push to the commercial prospects.

The combination of Krish and Nandamuri Balakrishna after Gautamiputra Satakarni. With the latter playing his legendary dad on screen, the expectations are sky high among the fans.

There is the first release advantage.

Weakness:

The major weakness is the two-part release strategy. It doesn’t allow a full impact for the first part.

The music hasn’t caught on, and there would be a comparison with Mahanati, a successfully made biopic in Telugu.

Vinaya Vidheya Rama:

Strength:

The first time combination of Ram Charan with Boyapati Sreenu is the biggest strength of the movie.

It is the only mass film for the masses for the festival period among the direct Telugu releases.

Weakness:

The trailer hasn’t clicked as desired, and the audio is poor.

Of late, the audience is moving away from the formulaic mass flicks with an overdose of violence. This is the biggest asset, as well as the weakness here as such movies, have become rare from top stars and if done well, the potential is enormous among the masses.

F2:

Strength:

It is the complete family entertainer for the Sankranthi festival and also the only one.

The fresh combination of Venkatesh, Varun Tej and director Anil Ravipudi joining hands with them.

Weakness:

Dil Raju production has been going through a rough phase. The subjects are decent but are presented in a formulaic manner has become stale. If that is the case here, the sustenance at the box office could be difficult.

Peta:

Strength:

It is a Superstar Rajinikanth film, and that alone is always the selling point.

A combination with young and talented director Karthik Subbaraj and fresh ‘mass’ presentation of Superstar Rajinikanth in all his glory has got the fans super excited.

Weakness:

The utter and total lack of promotions and big release in Telugu is a downer for the mass entertainer.

It is releasing amidst tight competition and targets the same audience unlike say an Express Raja that released a few years ago. It is not about the stardom, but the film which focused on an audience that was different (moviegoing and demographic wise) from others in the competition.
