We are in times where the locals of the United States of America are entertaining hatred towards the immigrants after Trump took charge as the President of the State. A series of hate crimes are on the rise and recently, a Telugu person was killed for no reason.
In this scenario when Indians are being targeted to go back and are being abused based on our nationality, don’t we need to exercise some restraint? But, what’s happening when a big star’s film is releasing? Few enthusiastic Indian immigrants are seen organizing car rallies when their favorite star’s film is releasing. And they usually enter theater shouting slogans of their favorite hero and wearing their traditional attires to match their hero in public is the latest trend to show how great their hero is back in India.
This kind of fanism is getting common day by day that can be taken for granted in India. But, in the US, the scene is different and Immigrants are facing troubled times. Though these activities are legal and no one can stop them, these may further provoke the locals.
Isn’t it the high time to refrain from these kind of public activities which could further provoke the locals who are entertaining grudge and hatred on immigrants?
