Vijay Deverakonda who has been flying high with back to back successful and blockbuster movies is going to taste his first genuine failure in the US. His only non-performers so far have been delayed films.
For the first time, an on-time release NOTA is going to fare poorly due to the talk it is getting. The movie has been a miss with the US audience. The premiere numbers were still good which suggest he is still a hot property, but care must be taken in subject selection and script.
NOTA has collected around $ 260K in the US so far. If there is no pick up on Saturday, it is going to end up with final collections less than half million. Considering the pre-release expectations, that would be a huge disappointment.
