Contrary to the image Vijay Deverakonda has got after ‘Arjun Reddy’, the young hero’s image took a drastic u-turn with ‘Geetha Govindam’. The director of his next movie, the bilingual ‘NOTA’ isn’t going to play safe using either the ‘Arjun Reddy’ image or tweak his story a little based on his soft image in ‘Geetha Govindam’.
There had been Tollywood gossips regarding the change in the content after the blockbuster success of ‘Geetha Govindam’. The director, Anand doesn’t see any need to even change the content as he is sure that the script they had locked before commencing the shooting will cater to both the Telugu and Tamil sensibilities. So, there would be no question of change based on the hero’s image.
But the director is very happy that Vijay’s reach has increased after the two blockbusters and that means a positive sign. It’s good for any film. But, this is Vijay’s first film in Tamil and the actor has taken pains to learn the language and mouth his own dialogues. Vijay will be playing a politician, the Chief Minister of a state and his transition to become a spotless politician.
