Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, which will hit the theatres on the 31st of May, has been gaining a lot of publicity lately. There is chat that the film is ‘unethical’ and will have a bad effect on the Indian society. But in a recent talk, the lead actor of the movie, Ranbir Kapoor said that there is nothing ‘unethical’ about it.
According to him, movies are all about entertainment and are not made to spoil the society and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (YJHD) is no exception. He also stated that the film is just youth-oriented and there was no intention to influence youngsters in a negative way, it is being perceived wrongly.
The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and is produced under the Dharma Productions banner. Other than Ranbir Kapoor, the film features actors Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Sidharth Roy Kapoor in the lead roles.
