Sudha Kongara and her success of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ aka ‘Aakasam Nee Haddura‘ is the current flavour of the season when everyone is speaking about her mettle as a female director who could handle a star hero with brilliant output.
However, it’s not easy for a female director in the male-dominated film industry as there wouldn’t be many who would encourage female directors even after back-to-back hits. There is no buzz regarding her next, as of now.
Sudha Kongara has known stars like Suriya and Madhavan for more than two decades, but never asked them to do her films only for the reason that she knows them. Only when she had a proper story for them, she approached them and got them on board.
She remembers how she was treated differently before and after the success of ‘Irudhi Suttru’. Now, after two back-to-back big hits, we are yet to hear about her next project and the stars who would come forward to do a film with her.
