The buzz for the heroine opposite Prabhas in the star’s upcoming film Adipurush is getting intensified with each passing day. The reason for it is simple, as Prabhas plays Ram, the female lead opposite him means essaying the part of Sita. It would be an iconic role for any actress.
Naturally, there is a lot of enthusiasm to know who would be picked for the coveted part. The latest on that front is that actress Kriti Sanon is likely to pair with Prabhas. The grapevine is that she has piped other hot candidates for the part like Alia Bhatt and Keerthy Suresh. Earlier, Anushka Sharma and Anushka Shetty too were rumoured to be in contention for the same role.
If Kriti Sanon bags the role, it will be a massive moment in her career. The actress who made a debut in films with Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine is slowly climbing up the ladder in Bollywood. Adipurush will be the biggest one, so far, and give a tremendous push and visibility, without any doubt.
Adipurush is an adaptation of Ramayana with a new visceral experience like never before. Om Raut of Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero fame directs the movie whereas T Series produces it. Saif Ali Khan plays the most essential Ravana in the historical.
The shooting of Adipurush will commence in 2021. Most of the film will be shot indoors and contain heavy visual effects. It will, however, hit the cinemas after Prabhas21.
