No To Chiranjeevi, Yes To Balayya!Trisha Krishnan is hitting headlines of late over reports that she is getting paired alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna for Gopichand Malineni’s film. The actress’ last Telugu film was Nayaki. Post that she was occupied in Kollywood and didn’t sign any Telugu films.

For the unversed, Trisha was supposed to make a comeback with Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, but citing creative differences she backed out of the project. Back then Chiranjeevi cleared the air stating that the reason could be she opting for Mani Ratnam’s project. While Trisha said no to Chiranjeevi, she has now okayed Balakrishna’s film.

Reportedly, Gopichand approached Trisha for a role, for which the latter has given her nod. The actress has no good offers in Kollywood of late, and Balakrishan’s project coming her way, Trisha doesn’t want to lose out the big project so she readily accepted the offer.

Speaking about Gopichand Malineni film, based on real-life incidents, it will star Balayya Babu in a khaki role. The filmmaker has done extensive research in Vetapalem and the script is almost done.

Mythri Movie Makers riding high on the success of Uppena will be banrolling this project. The yet-to-be titled film will go on floors after Balakrishna wraps up Boyapati Srinu’s Akhanda and also by the situation.
