Telugu filmmaker Nandini Reddy has confirmed that she is not remaking Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, and has rubbished all rumours against her. She says she is currently working on her next project, which is a rom-com. She also said she has no plans to remake the Hindi film.
Her last film Jabardasth was panned by critics as the Telugu remake of Hindi film Band Bajaa Baraat. The film featuring Siddharth and Samantha was a box-office disaster, while her debut film Ala Modalaindi, which is currently being remade in Tamil, was a blockbuster.
Nandini will likely announce her next project in a month’s time and she is yet to zero in on the cast and crew.
