These days, it has become very common that any recent super hit from Tamil is coming to Telugu in the form of a remake. Dubbing versions of Tamil movies had become limited. However, contrary to the speculations, one super hit movie isn’t going to be remade in Telugu.
The film in the discussion is ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’ directed by 21-year old debutante Karthick Naren with Rahman playing the lead. This silent hit surprised the trade with not only the content but also for mostly roping in the newcomers and hitting the bull’s eye.
Now, the latest update says that it is not going to be remade but going for the release of the dubbed version in Telugu as ’16’. The producer of the Telugu version is said to be Chadalavada Padmavathi. This critically acclaimed film may be remade in Hindi, but the Telugu audiences are going to watch it soon in the form of Telugu dubbed movie.
