The Karnataka state government had decided to ban Telugu movies for 10 day in November. Due to Karnataka state formation day, they will not be allowing any Telugu movie releases from November 1st to 10th. All the theaters will be screening only the local Kannada movies during that period. This decision will affect the Big Telugu stars who are planning to release their movies in the last week of October or early November (Diwali special).
There is a huge population of Telugu people in Karnataka. Telugu films rake in good numbers there. As of now, Ram Charan’s Yevadu, Nagarjuna’s Bhai and Venkatesh – Ram Multistarer movie, Masala are being planned by that time. They may have to forego Diwali advantage if they decide to postpone their movies due to Karnataka effect
