In Telugu film industry there are only limited stars and even limited top directors. We can with absolute confidence say SS Rajamouli is the biggest of them all. Following him are directors like Trivikram Srinivas, Koratala Siva, Boyapati Sreenu and others.
Just not so long ago Srinu Vytla, Puri Jagannadh and VV Vinayak used to be in this big league. We get to see Surender Reddy after all of these directors but in terms of reputation, he is no less than any one of these top directors. The problem is the lack of consistency in delivering success at box office. It is the reason why he remains underrated despite giving some big hits.
Only that can explain the lack of enthusiasm for his next film as director. We all know he is making Dhruva currently but what about his next? No big star is associated with him as of now. And that’s a big mistake given the talent the director possesses.
Jr NTR who is currently on the lookout for a big director could easily sign him up for his next. But that isn’t the case. Let’s wait and see which star picks up the director who will be free from January.
