The inevitable had happened. The exhibitor association of Vizianagaram district decided not to screen Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Zanjeer/Thoofan on the release day. They have taken this decision keeping in mind the people’s ire on Chiranjeevi demanding his resignation for United Andhra Pradesh. They will review the decision on day 2 considering the situations then.
On the other side, things are not so rosy in Ceeded and West Godavari too. The exhibitors here are planning not to screen the morning shows and decided on the later shows considering the conditions prevailing on that day. Several theaters are afraid to announce the movie release fearing backlash.
