No protest against Uttama Villain: Producer
There were rumours that some group in Bangalore had protested against the poster of Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, since it was copied. That group forced the makers to stop shooting in Bangalore and rush back to Chennai. But the film’s producer has rubbished all such rumours.

Producer N. Subhash Chandra Bose of Thirupathi Brother said that the unit did not leave because some group protested but because they had completed the shooting schedule in Bangalore. The team will soon start shooting in Chennai, and will also head to abroad for a short schedule. Kamal plays dual roles in the film as that of a theatre actor of the 8th century and a cinema superstar of 21st century. It is being directed by Ramesh Arvind.

If all goes well, the film will release during Diwali.
