With the most important places and junctions in the city of Hyderabad being already occupied by statues of powerful political leaders the Movie Artist Association (MAA) is finding it hard to pick a suitable location to place the statue of the recently deceased Legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. It also doesn’t help that the Supreme Court has recently passed a directive against installation of such statues in crowded places and important locations.
Due to those above mentioned reasons MAA is finding it hard to get done with the statue installation process. Especially the Supreme Court ruling has made things even more difficult as its reported that post that ruling no new installation of statues have happened. They are expected to meet the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation soon to find a solution to the problem. MAA is also looking into the suggestions given by the Telugu film personalities and is looking at solution for this problem as soon as possible.
