However, actresses like Samantha in Telugu and a few top actresses like Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone in Bollywood are exceptions. Shriya Saran’s fate seems to be dwindling after marriage.
She got married to her longtime beau in March, this year and today she has only two films in her kitty, one in Tamil and the other one in Hindi. Both the films were signed before her marriage and there had been no offers from Telugu, even. She had one release ‘Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu‘ that bit dust, literally.
According to the hearsays, the actress is considered for playing Venkatesh’s romantic interest in his upcoming multi-starrer ‘Venky Mama’ with his nephew Naga Chaitanya as the other lead. They are going to play reel-life ‘Maama Alludu’ in this movie. Shriya’s role is yet to be confirmed in this movie. Once a hot siren, Shriya is waiting like a struggling actress for offers.
