Young Rebel Star Prabhas‘s Salaar was launched for Sankranthi. The film will start rolling soon and the actor will join the team in the first week of February. On the other side, director Prashant Neel is busy finalizing the star cast of the film.
Buzz is that there will be two heroines in the film and the team is considering two Bollywood beauties – Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani for the roles. Both of them are familiar to the Telugu audience. Katrina previously romanced Venkatesh and Balakrishna in Telugu.
Disha Patani made her Telugu debut with Varun Tej’s Loafer, a few years ago. To make his films more marketable in North markets, Prabhas is opting for Bollywood heroines after the Baahubali series. He romanced Shraddha Kapoor in Saaho.
He already finalized Deepika Padukone for Nag Ashwin’s film and Kriti Sanon for Adipurush. Only Radhe Shyam has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Even Pooja is shooting for a big shot Bollywood film, Cirkus opposite Ranveer Singh. It looks like Prabhas will be content nothing less than Bollywood level as the actresses for his films.
