Pawan Kalyan and Anand Sai, art director, are thick friends. Their friendship dates back to their Chennai days from where they began their friendship. Anand Sai is now a noted art director and it was Pawan Kalyan’s thrust that helped him enter into the cinema field.
Anand Sai has now opened up on their bond and how Pawan Kalyan was influential and part of all the milestones that happened in his life. “I got a break in films due to Pawan. It was he who encouraged me to try my hand at films after he saw my drawings. Not just my career, but even Pawan helped in my wedding. I ran out of money, and Pawan gave me Rs 1 lac for my wedding. He was present at the wedding,” says Anand Sai.
Anand Sai believes that there is some karmic connection with Pawan. “Not only in films, but even I got work outside due to him. Tollywood saw the first wedding set for Chiranjeevi’s daughter and then later I did for Ram Charan and several others. The trend started with me and the credit goes to Pawan for giving me the opportunity,” says Anand Sai.
The art director says that both Pawan and he don’t express much about their bond in public, but when it is required Pawan is there for him akin to a mother.
