Besides acting, Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law Sudheer Babu is into many things like playing badminton and now, producing films under Sudheer Babu Productions. His maiden production venture ‘Nannu Docukunduvate‘ disappointed him trade wise as it fared average commercially.
The content of the movie was average and that’s the reason for the disappointing performance of his production venture. As a producer, this is a disappointing movie for Sudheer Babu. He expected a decent amount from selling the digital rights of the movie and has been demanding around Rs. 3 crores for the digital rights, reportedly. However, he finally sold the digital rights for a nominal price and that is said to be for Rs. 1 crore. So, luck didn’t smile on him even here.
Even if the movie scores good TRPs for its television premieres, Sudheer Babu’s commercial prospects are closed as he sold out the rights, already. The wafer-thin plot of the movie and the cliched second half were the reasons why the movie’s performance was limited in the theatres. Except for the cute and talented heroine Nabha Natesh, Sudheer Babu’s debut production had no special moments.
