Rana Daggubati is one of the most versatile actors in the Indian Film Industry at present. He always experiments with his looks and roles and has never taken a backstep when it comes to trying something new.
Of course, trying something new has not always yielded good results for Rana, and the recently released Aranya is the best example of that. Aranya failed to entertain the audience as much and fell short of its expectations. However, Rana doesn’t seem to have been disheartened by this, as he is reportedly up for doing yet another experimental film. People thought that he would play safe, but Rana has chosen not to go back, and stick to his decision of doing new films.
According to the latest reports, Rana has signed on to do a film with debutant Venky, a protegee of director Sukumar’s. Sources reveal that this is a period drama, but there’s no confirmation yet. This is a clear indication that Rana will always experiment and try to give us new concept films no matter what. This is a highly impressive choice, given that he’s going forward with yet another experimental film, irrespective of the result of the previous one.
Nevertheless, here’s hoping that Rana manages to find success in his future endeavors and that he keeps entertaining his audience with more and more experimental and new concept films.
