Rajamouli’s RRR by its magnanimous nature of the budget, content, the star cast and technicians wouldn’t be one of those movies that would go for a direct digital release. Not even a remote chance, though.

So, there is no worry and this is like an intermediate phase for digital platforms where we can see the platforms are evolving, but they would never be a threat to the theatrical experience. When satellite channels were blooming, many though that that might affect the footfalls into the theatres.
That didn’t happen. So, digital platforms will only give a chance for a personal experiences at home like a ritual to sit and watch a serial together on televisions.
Here, Rajamouli points at the fact that there is no tracking system yet on OTT platforms to trace the success of a movie unlike in theatres and on television where the audiences’ response can be trakced in the form of the box-office performance and TRPs respectively.
