No Decision Yet On Stopping Shootings! There have been reports about Active Film Producers Guild deciding to stop the film shootings starting from August 1st to implement cost-cutting in remunerations.

M9.news has asked Dil Raju about it in an interview about Thankyou.

“There is nothing like stopping the shootings from August 1st as of now. We are still discussing what is right. We are only trying to understand what is going wrong given the rapid changes that came in the behavioral pattern of the audience,” Dil Raju said.

We specifically asked him if these decisions will really matter as the producers themselves will compete with each other and bid for higher prices and remunerations.

“When we have 100 Rupees in the pocket, we prefer to eat at a small eatery. When we have 1000 Rupees in the pocket, we prefer to go to a five-star. At present, the producers have only 100 Rupees. We will have to plan carefully or stop making films altogether,” he added.

“Earlier cost reduction is the only problem of the producers. This is a problem of the Cinema. Now everyone is impacted directly or indirectly. Our heroes are gold. They will understand the situation for sure if they are explained clearly. We will have to change or we will perish,” he told.
