Besides being one of the star heroes of Film Industry with a reputable cine background to his credit, megahero Ram Charan has ventured into aviation industry via Trujet, a regional airline connecting small cities. Trujet started with two airplanes but Ram Charan hopes to expand the services up to 5 airplanes. Chran explains why did he venture into this industry where there is tough competition?
Though there is tough competition, Ram Charan, the director and promoter of Trujet feels that there is scope for expansion flying his airplanes to small cities i.e., Tier II and III cities. Speaking on financing the airline, Ram Charan says most of the investments is through equity participation but he refuses to comment on his own investments.
Through Trujet, Ram Charan wants to improve connectivity to small cities. He is also offering concessional prices to students and to his South Indian film artists, besides free meals, pick up and drop from select locations. The ultimate motto is to make a difference says Ram Charan. Being the brand ambassador of his airline, Ram Charan certainly has an edge over other regional airlines which also are flying their aircraft at concessional rates.
