No Big Hopes, Nagarjuna Is Happy Where He IsNagarjuna is set to complete 35-years in the movie industry in the coming month, May. The celebrated actor in his illustrious career has many movies to reckon with and is a popular face down South. Although he has acted in a couple of Bollywood films like- Khuda Gawah, Drohi, Criminal and Zakhm, Manmadhudu actor however didn’t pursue vehemently to get more Hindi films and earn recognition over North audience.

Nagarjuna‘s last Bollywood film was LOC Kargil in 2003 and after 17-long-years, Nagarjuna has accepted Hindi film, Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. The reason behind Nagarjuna accepting the offer was that he was touched by filmmaker Ayan Mukherji and Karan Johar who approached him as he would only suit the role well. Moreover Ayan Mukherji wrote the role considering Nagarjuna in mind, which left the Wild Dog actor touched.

Nagarjuna doesn’t rule out acting in Bollywood films, but adds that if something comes up suitable he would take up, but he asserts that he is happy where he is and doesn’t believe in chasing anything.

Recently, there was a lot of buzz on Nagarjuna’s 100th film. There were speculations that the 100th film will be a multi-starrer and will feature his sons- Akhil and Naga Chaitanya too. While nothing official is announced, Akkineni fans and general audience can expect something big and special.
