There have been reports that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda is eyeing December 24th Release as Christmas Special. Speculations were rife that Nani‘s Shyam Singha Roy which was announced for the same day release may have to make way.
Clarifying the rumors, the makers of Shyam Singha Roy have announced the release of their first single. The first single ‘Rage of Shyam’ will be out on November 6th. The released a special poster of stylishly sitting on a chair with a cigarette in one hand.
The poster has the message of ‘December 24th Release’ debunking the rumors of a possible postponement. We have to see what Akhanda team does now. Directed by Taxiwala fame Rahul Sankrityan, Shyam Singha Roy has Kolkata backdrop.
This will be the first theatrical release of Nani after two back to back Direct-to-OTT releases of V and Tuck Jagadish. Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian are the female lead besides Nani in this film.
